Bring Your Driver’s License – You will need proper
identification to register as a bidder.
Only Bid If You Are Sure – Be sure to preview the
vehicles prior to the sale and decide exactly how much you are
willing to pay for a vehicle or item. Set a budget and stick to
it. Once you have secured the winning bid, you own it. Don’t
try to back out of a sale. You may lose you deposit and the right
to bid again.
Bring A Mechanic or Knowledgeable Friend – All vehicles
are sold “AS IS”. You are encouraged to check the vehicles
thoroughly before the sale.
Do Some Research - Go to www.kelleybluebook.com
; check the newspapers for dealer’s ads and pricing.
Be Realistic – You will have the opportunity to get
great bargains, but be realistic. Some agencies/sellers place minimum
prices on some of the vehicles for sale. You will not be able to
buy a 2003 Corvette for $1,000.
Come Early – Take the time to really check the vehicle
before you bid, not afterwards.
Pay Attention – Be careful to bid on the correct vehicle
that the auctioneer is selling. Auctions run at a fairly quick
pace and it is not difficult to get confused if you don’t
pay attention.
